Staff Accountant

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Staff Accountant / Bookkeeper to join our technology company. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day financial operations of the company, including reconciling accounts, preparing financial statements, and handling payroll. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate and complete financial records, as well as ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and bookkeeping, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. • Maintain accurate and complete financial records for the company
• Reconcile accounts, including bank statements, credit card statements, and vendor invoices
• Prepare financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
• Handle payroll, including calculating pay, preparing payroll tax returns, and issuing paychecks
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including tax laws and payroll laws
• Assist with the preparation of budgeting and forecasting
• Collaborate with administration and CPA to ensure accurate financial reporting

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field (preferred but not required)
• 2+ years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping
• Proficiency with accounting software, such as Quick Books
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately and efficiently
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
