We are looking for a proactive Executive Coordinator to join Southwest Louisiana Credit Union. This is not just an administrative role, it is a pivotal position serving as a trusted advisor, strategic partner, and operational extension of the President/CEO helping to drive the Credit Union’s most critical initiatives.

Role Description

This position should represent the CEO and Credit Union at meetings and community events when needed. This role is responsible for enhancing executive effectiveness, driving strategic priorities, coordinating cross-functional initiatives, and aligning the CEO with committees, the Board of Directors, and the broader organization.

Responsible for providing executive-level administrative and clerical support to the President/CEO and Credit Union leadership. Manages calendar, coordinates travel, organizes board and committee meetings, and ensures efficient communication and follow-up organizational priorities. Handles vendor management tasks, assists with CDFI reporting, maintains critical records, and manages special projects as assigned.

Qualifications Education / Certification

High school graduate or equivalent. College degree preferred.

Required Knowledge

Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet applications, and credit union operations. Data analytics and knowledge of CDFI reporting are preferred.

Experience Required

Three to five years of administrative support, executive support, or secretarial experience.

Skills / Abilities

Proficient typing skills. Strong interpersonal and public relations skills. Solid analytical, creative, and problem-solving abilities. Project management skills. Able to work independently and in a team setting.
