The Role
As a Safety Representative at United Utility, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our team members and the communities we serve. Your expertise will directly impact our business by upholding the highest safety standards, fostering a culture of safety awareness, and helping us maintain our industry-leading position. Key Responsibilities- Implement and oversee safety programs and policies on construction sites.
- Conduct regular safety inspections, identify hazards, and recommend corrective actions.
- Provide safety training to employees and contractors.
- Investigate accidents and incidents, analyzing root causes and recommending preventative measures.
- Stay updated on industry regulations and ensure compliance.
- Collaborate with project teams to integrate safety into all aspects of construction.
- A bachelor's degree in a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in construction safety.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Proficiency in using safety management software. - A commitment to promoting a diverse and inclusive work environment.
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP)
- Occupational Health and Safety Technician (OHST)
- Master's degree in Occupational Health and Safety.
