The Service Operations Assistant supports the Service Operations Manager in delivering exceptional customer service, driving front-end operational excellence, and ensuring efficient execution of store service functions. This role assists with supervising front-end operations, associate development, cash handling compliance, and customer satisfaction initiatives while maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for customers and associates.

• Assist in overseeing daily front-end operations, including check stands, self-checkout, customer service, and courtesy services.
• Ensure efficient customer flow and appropriate staffing levels throughout the day.
• Monitor service standards and operational execution.
• Support opening, closing, and shift transition procedures.
• Assist with managing breaks, lunches, and labor utilization.

• Deliver exceptional customer service and create a customer-focused environment.
• Resolve customer concerns, complaints, and service issues promptly and professionally.
• Promote customer loyalty through positive interactions and service recovery efforts.
• Support implementation of customer service programs and initiatives.

• Provide leadership, coaching, and support to front-end associates.
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, training, and scheduling activities.
• Monitor associate performance and provide feedback to improve service quality.
• Promote teamwork, accountability, and a positive work environment.

• Ensure compliance with cash handling policies and procedures.
• Assist with till accountability, audits, and reconciliation processes.
• Monitor front-end transactions for accuracy and compliance.
• Support loss prevention and asset protection initiatives.

• Monitor front-end productivity and service metrics.
• Ensure equipment and systems are functioning properly.
• Maintain department cleanliness, organization, and safety standards.
• Assist with implementation of operational improvements and process efficiencies.

• Maintain a safe working environment for customers and associates.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety programs, and operating procedures.
• Assist with audits, inspections, and corrective action plans.
• Support incident reporting and follow-up processes.
