Anesthesiology

We are currently hiring Anesthesiologists for a large, well‑established and award‑winning health system in Southwest Louisiana.

• Hospital‑based employment
• Surgical Case Variety: OB/GYN, General Surgery, Orthopedics, Urology, Pediatrics, Neurosurgery, Cardiothoracic, Vascular, Trauma (Level III)
• Regarding Pediatrics – Typically 3–4 weeks is the youngest. Occasionally, neonates for pyloric stenosis – No epidurals at the main campus, all done by CRNA's at the Women’s Campus
• Approximate hours: 6:30 am – noon or could be until 5:00 pm. (there is always one late physician until 5:00 pm) – if on nights, come in at 5:00 pm and finish any cases left from the day but are still on‑call until 6:00 am for 7 days
• No in‑house call
• Day, Float/Night float system
• Average 1 weekend call/month
