Overview

Are you ready to revolutionize the roll forming industry with your engineering expertise? Our client is seeking a dynamic Process Engineer to innovate and optimize their roll forming operations. This role is perfect for a hands-on professional eager to enhance manufacturing efficiency and sustainability.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and configure manufacturing systems to reduce costs and streamline processes.
  • Determine and acquire the necessary tooling for roll forming.
  • Analyze and resolve issues with current tooling and processes.
  • Provide engineering support and training to operations and maintenance teams.
  • Collaborate with vendors to ensure product specifications and quality standards are met.
  • Design, fabricate, repair, and troubleshoot high-precision machines and systems.
  • Research new materials and processing methods, with a focus on metallurgy.
  • Plan and implement improvements related to safety, quality, and cost.
Working Conditions
  • Engage directly with machinery in a non-climate controlled environment.
  • Perform tasks such as bending, standing, and lifting objects up to 50 pounds.
  • Work in confined spaces and at varying heights.
  • Adapt to flexible schedules and travel to various locations as needed.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • 5-10 years of hands-on experience in roll forming and related manufacturing processes.
  • Proficient in mechanical, electrical, air, and hydraulic systems.
  • Skilled in reading schematics, blueprints, and technical documents.
  • Computer literacy with proficiency in Windows, MS Office, and AutoCAD.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
