Civil Precast Engineer

Our client, a leader in structural engineering and precast concrete systems, is seeking a Precast Civil Engineer to join their team. As a Precast Civil Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting project design, analysis, and execution. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.

** Pay Range:**  $130,000 - $150,000

** What's the Job?*
* + Perform structural design and analysis of prestressed and precast concrete elements, including beams, columns, wall panels, and related systems.

+ Design and evaluate specialty concrete systems such as underground utility trenches, electrical/communication duct banks, and deep foundation systems.

+ Prepare and review engineering calculations, shop drawings, and erection drawings to ensure accuracy and constructability.

+ Coordinate with detailers, production teams, and field personnel to ensure alignment between design intent and fabrication/erection processes.

+ Review RFIs, submittals, and design revisions throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards.

** What's Needed?*
* + Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.

+ Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in precast/prestressed concrete engineering.

+ Professional Engineer (PE) license required.

+ Strong knowledge of prestressed concrete behavior, PCI design standards, and load paths.

+

Experience with structural design and analysis software such as ETABS, Tekla Structural Designer, or similar platforms.
