Process Engineer, Chemical Engineer
ABGi USA is hiring on behalf of one of our engineering and industrial clients for a Process Engineer. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing engineering team supporting a variety of projects across the chemical, petrochemical, refining, and industrial sectors.
We're seeking an engineer with 2–7 years of experience who enjoys process engineering, technical problem-solving, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative solutions from concept through execution.
ResponsibilitiesDevelop process engineering deliverables including heat and material balances, Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), and Process & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
Build and maintain process simulation models using HYSYS, PROII, or similar software.
Perform hydraulic calculations and evaluate process equipment performance.
Develop process designs for new and existing facilities.
Prepare engineering reports, technical documentation, and process design packages (PDPs).
Collaborate with mechanical, piping, instrumentation, electrical, and project engineering teams.
Support projects throughout the engineering and design lifecycle.
Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering.
2–7 years of process engineering experience in an EPC, consulting, or industrial manufacturing environment.
Experience with process simulation software such as HYSYS, Aspen HYSYS, PROII, or similar platforms.
Strong understanding of process engineering fundamentals and process design.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to travel occasionally to client or project sites.
Work on diverse and technically challenging engineering projects.
Collaborate with an experienced, multidisciplinary team.
