We’re seeking a dedicated Production Reliability Engineer to lead pivotal enhancements in our client’s manufacturing processes. This long-term, direct-hire opportunity offers the chance to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic environment, working alongside talented teams to boost safety, efficiency, and profitability.
In this role, you will identify and implement process improvements, troubleshoot existing systems, oversee capital projects from start to finish, and leverage methodologies like Lean Six Sigma to maximize supply chain performance. Your expertise will ensure machinery and instrumentation operate reliably, contributing to safer, more efficient chemical manufacturing.
Required Skills- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
- 5+ years of chemical plant experience
- Strong knowledge of mechanical equipment design, troubleshooting, and reliability
- Proficiency in process improvement methodologies, including Lean Six Sigma
- Experience with PFDs, P&IDs, energy and mass balances
- Ability to lead or participate in PPA, JSA, and PHA teams
- Effective project management skills from concept through commissioning
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities
- Experience with process safety management systems
- Familiarity with programming logic modifications for process optimization
- Background in mechanical predictive maintenance programs
- Ability to develop and revise equipment specifications and vendor relations
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
- 5-7 years of relevant chemical plant experience, with demonstrated success in process optimization and project leadership
- Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week - Must be willing to occasionally support plant trials, startups, and provide relief coverage
- Certifications related to process safety or project management are a plus
