Slot Technician

It is the responsibility of the Slot Technician to provide fast, friendly service while performing repairs and preventative maintenance on slot machines.

• Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations, Federal and State laws and regulations, and Golden Nugget and departmental policies and procedures
• Consistently deliver positive, courteous and professional guest service in all interactions with guests, visitors, vendors and fellow employees
• Ensure all slot machines on the casino floor are operating according to company standards
• Maintain confidentiality of all Golden Nugget information including business processes, customer lists and any other confidential information
• Perform preventive maintenance, modifications and relocation of slot machines and peripheral devices
• Rebuild parts/equipment during down time, and maintain the parts inventory as assigned
• Circulate through assigned area performing repairs as necessary
• Ensure that all slot/storage areas are clean and organized
• Responsible for the set‑up and testing of new slot product
• Responsible for the security of keys and all issued tools and equipment to perform functions of the position
• Complete all regulatory/operational documents thoroughly and legibly
• Able to work holidays and weekends, as well as flexible shifts and/or unusual hours

• Minimum one year of slot repair experience
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Must be able to obtain the required state Casino Employee Registration
