Boudreaux's New Drug Store will serve the patient-physician need by preparing CUSTOM FORMULATIONS. Upon physician request, medications will be prepared according to the patient's demographic and specific etiological requirements. At Boudreaux's New Drug Store, our philosophy is founded on the belief that every individual deserves access to comprehensive pharmaceutical care that goes beyond dispensing medication. We view pharmacy as the leader in correcting patients' well-being and their overall health.
By integrating evidence-based and personalized medication, we believe that illnesses are curable based on one's determination and the help of medical professionals. Relationships and agreements with other health care professionals are entered into with the goal of improved patient outcomes. Areas of focus in pharmaceutical care will include but are not limited to medication problem-solving, customized hormone replacement therapy for men and women, diabetes (shoe program), wound care, pain management, nutraceutical support, drug regimen reviews, and medication case management.

The Role
As a Pharmacist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications for patients across various healthcare settings. Your primary responsibility will be to evaluate and manage medication therapy, providing expert advice to healthcare professionals and patients alike. You will also be involved in pharmacoeconomic assessments to optimize medication costs while maintaining high-quality care. Additionally, you will educate patients on medication usage, potential side effects, and the importance of adherence to prescribed therapies.
Ultimately, your expertise will contribute to improved patient outcomes and the overall efficiency of healthcare delivery.
- Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.
D.) degree from an accredited institution. - Active pharmacist license in the state of practice.
- Completion of an accredited pharmacy residency program or equivalent experience.
- Board certification in a pharmacy specialty (e.g., BCPS, BCGP).
- Experience in clinical pharmacy or hospital pharmacy settings.
- Familiarity with pharmacy benefit management systems.
