Electrical & Instrumentation; E&I Technician

Position: Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Technician
Reporting directly to the Maintenance Supervisor, the Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Technician is responsible for coordinating the testing, maintenance, calibration, and repair of sensing equipment. This includes temperature sensors, level sensors, sensor transmitters as well as their connections to various industrial computers (PLCs). Other job duties to include troubleshooting of process equipment which utilizes automation for control, wiring of electrical circuits for control circuits and their power supply.

** Associate degree or technical training/certifications strongly preferred.*

Experience:

** Minimum 2 years of experience (4-6 years preferred) in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with strong mechanical and electrical skills*

** Ability to troubleshoot, modify, and replace Allen Bradley Products: SLC 500 and 5000 PLCs, Guard Master, Power Flex, Flex I/O, Control Logix controllers and system components required*
* +  
** Minimum 2 years of experience maintaining and troubleshooting automated industrial production systems.*
* +  
** Rockwell Automation specific PLC, and VFD training certifications preferred.*
* +  
** Hands on

Experience with Process Equipment preferred.*

** Hands on

Experience with Scales and loadcells preferred.*
