Position: Director of Nursing (LC)

About Us

We provide skilled nursing services to medically fragile children who cannot attend a regular daycare setting. Each child has the opportunity to interact with other children while receiving the highest level of nursing care. Our facilities offer physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and an educational curriculum. We also provide transportation to and from our facility. We currently have six clinics located in Louisiana and Mississippi.

Responsibilities
  • The Director of Nursing is responsible for the daily supervision of all aspects of patient care to ensure compliance with each patient's plan of care.
  • Responsible for all activities of the nursing staff and direct patient care staff to ensure compliance with current standards of accepted nursing and state regulations.
  • Daily clinical operations.
  • Continuing education for all nursing & direct patient care staff.

Qualifications and Skills
  • The DON shall hold a current registered nursing licensure in the State of Louisiana without restrictions.
  • Hold a current CPR certification.
  • Hold a current certification in Basic Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
  • Have a minimum of two years general pediatric nursing experience of which a minimum of at least six months shall have been spent caring for medically fragile or technology‑dependent infants or children in one of the following settings:
    Pediatric intensive care, Neonatal intensive care, Pediatric emergency care, PDHC facility.

The facility is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 am‑5:30 pm. No weekends and no holidays! 7 standard holidays and 2 weeks of PTO are given to all full‑time employees.
