Labor and Delivery nurse positions are available in a healthcare facility's Obstetrics (OB) department. Candidates will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to patients during labor, delivery, and postpartum periods. The role involves managing routine and complex obstetric cases and ensuring quality patient outcomes during night shifts.

• Schedule:
  
  Nights shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications:
  
  Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, current RN License in the state of employment or with a compact license, at least 1 year of related nursing experience, current certification from one of the following: AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) Instructor, AWHONN Instructor Trainer, or NCC Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM); current NRP certification; current ACLS certification.
• Preferred Qualifications:
  
  Experience in a perinatal or obstetric setting, completion of a Perinatal Nursing Residency, or recent practice in obstetric nursing.
• Responsibilities:
  Demonstrate clinical independence, provide routine and complex obstetric care, administer medications, assess patient status, deliver patient education, and collaborate with care teams. Ensure compliance with the organization's standards and protocols, and attend new nurse orientation within the first 30 days of hire.
• Additional Information:
  Newly hired experienced RN must attend New Nurses Orientation. Precepted by trained staff and complete all organizational competency validations and annual requirements. No floating is required for this role.
