Contract | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Days 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Onsite | Projected Start:
October 2026

• Provide nursing care for a variety of perinatal patients including labor and delivery, circulating C-sections, antepartum patients, and initial newborn assessments
• Administer medications and treatments per appropriate protocol, monitoring for side effects and effectiveness
• Utilize the nursing process — assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation — for assigned patients in accordance with ANA Scope and Standards of Practice
• Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided accurately and thoroughly
• Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members, and caregivers; identify issues and available resources

• Active RN license in the state of employment or a valid compact license
• BLS certification required
• Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
• Current ACLS certification required
• Current certification required from one of the following: AWHONN Intermediate FHM, AWHONN Intermediate FHM Instructor, AWHONN Advanced FHM Instructor, AWHONN Instructor Trainer, or NCC Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM)
• Minimum 1 year of Labor and Delivery nursing experience

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Recent experience in a perinatal setting or completion of a Perinatal RN Residency program
• Familiarity with AWHONN nurse-to-patient ratio standards in a Labor and Delivery environment

• No on-call requirement and no floating — allowing you to focus entirely on your Labor and Delivery patients
• Work within a structured perinatal unit that follows AWHONN staffing standards, supporting safe and high-quality patient care
