Welder

Reading blueprints:
Welders interpret blueprints, sketches, and specifications to determine the appropriate welding method and equipment.
Measuring and calculating:
Welders calculate and measure the dimensions of parts to be welded.
Repairing:
Welders repair worn parts of metal products by welding on extra layers. They also fill and repair holes in metal constructions.
Safety:
Welders must be attentive to detail and alert to ensure safety. They must also be able to read safety warnings and guidelines.
