These aircraft are extensively utilized throughout the Gulf of America to support crew transportation, long-range offshore missions, and operations in demanding oil and gas environments. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Perform structural repairs, modifications, inspections, and sheet metal fabrication on rotary-wing aircraft. Accomplish all assigned work in accordance with company policies, procedures, maintenance manuals, manufacturer specifications, and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations. Read and interpret aircraft drawings, blueprints, schematics, engineering orders, structural repair manuals, and technical publications. Properly document, sign, and assume responsibility for all work performed as outlined in company procedures and the Repair Station Manual (RSM).
Maintain a personal set of standard and metric aircraft-quality hand tools appropriate for assigned duties. Properly and efficiently utilize company-provided tools, equipment, materials, and parts. Communicate detailed status updates and work progression during shift turnovers to ensure continuity of maintenance activities. Remain current on maintenance manual revisions, company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Maintain awareness of unsafe conditions and immediately report hazards or safety concerns that could affect personnel, equipment, or aircraft.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, including proper care of personal and company equipment. Notify the Shop Lead or designated supervisor of aircraft discrepancies, project delays, recordkeeping issues, or maintenance emergencies. Support aircraft return-to-service activities through adherence to quality, safety, and compliance standards. Travel domestically and internationally as required to support maintenance operations.
Minimum Qualifications Ability to read and understand aircraft drawings, blueprints, schematics, structural repair manuals, and technical data. Three (3) to five (5) years of aircraft sheet metal or structural repair experience preferred. Strong understanding of aircraft structural repair techniques, fabrication methods, and corrosion control practices. Self-motivated and capable of maintaining an efficient work pace with minimal supervision. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility to work overtime, varying schedules, and travel assignments as required. Willingness to relocate to Lake Charles, Louisiana. Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid passport and any required visas for international travel. Strong commitment to safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
