Our client is a global leader in industrial automation and electrical systems, delivering innovative technologies that improve reliability, efficiency, and performance across critical industrial operations. They are seeking an experienced Resident Service Site Manager to serve as the primary technical representative at a major LNG facility. (Previous LNG experience is NOT required.)

This is a highly visible, customer-facing role where you'll oversee the performance, maintenance, and reliability of medium voltage drive systems while building strong relationships with plant personnel. You'll combine technical expertise, leadership, and hands‑on problem solving to ensure critical equipment remains operational and production downtime is minimized.

Reporting to the Field Service Manager, this position is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, leading maintenance activities, and serving as the trusted technical resource on-site.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary on-site liaison between our client and the customer, ensuring exceptional service and communication.
  • Oversee the reliability, maintenance, and performance of medium voltage (MV) drives, motors, and related electrical equipment.
  • Lead troubleshooting efforts for complex technical issues, providing timely and effective solutions to minimize downtime.
  • Coordinate and supervise preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and emergency service activities.
  • Partner with the customer to develop maintenance schedules, outage plans, and long-term equipment reliability strategies.
  • Recommend system upgrades, spare parts inventory, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to customer maintenance personnel on the operation and maintenance of advanced medium voltage drive systems.
  • Prepare detailed service documentation, maintenance reports, and technical recommendations.
  • Build strong working relationships with customer leadership, maintenance teams, vendors, and internal support groups.
  • Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety standards and established procedures.
Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • Minimum of five years of relevant experience supporting industrial electrical or automation systems.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with everyone from field technicians to executive leadership.
  • Ability to obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC).
Preferred
  • Previous experience managing an on-site service operation or resident engineering assignment.
  • Hands‑on experience with medium voltage drives, power electronics, and industrial motor systems.
  • Knowledge of transformers, switch gear, industrial communication networks, and related electrical equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, engineering drawings, and technical documentation.

This position is based full-time at a customer LNG facility and requires working in an active industrial environment. Responsibilities include hands‑on interaction with energized equipment and may involve working outdoors, at elevated heights, and in varying weather conditions. A strong commitment to safety and operational excellence is essential.

Why Consider This Opportunity?

This is an opportunity to join an industry-leading organization supporting critical infrastructure at one of the nation's premier LNG facilities.
