Part‑Time to Full‑Time Receptionist

- Friday 8 am–5 pm (8 hours, 1 hour lunch)
- Potential to transition to full‑time hours (Mon‑Fri, 8–5 pm) in the future
Pay: $16/hour
Provides general office support with a variety of clerical activities and related tasks. The receptionist will be responsible for assisting the Administrative Assistant with answering incoming calls, directing calls to appropriate associates, mail distribution, flow of correspondence, requisition of supplies as well as additional clerical duties as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Retrieve messages from voice mail and forward to appropriate personnel.
- Answer incoming telephone calls, determine purpose of callers, and forward calls to appropriate personnel or department.
- Takes and delivers messages or transfers calls to voice mail when appropriate personnel are unavailable.
- Answers questions about organization and provides callers with address, directions, and other information.
- Welcomes on‑site visitors, determines nature of business, and announces visitors to appropriate personnel.
- Receives, sorts, and routes mail, and maintains and routes publications.
- Performs other clerical duties as needed, such as filing, photocopying, collating and assisting the Administrative Assistant in any additional tasks.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must be available Monday‑Thursday from 1–5 pm and Friday from 8 am–5 pm.
- Ability to transition to full‑time hours (Mon‑Fri, 8–5 pm) in the future.
- Exceptional customer service skills and professional phone manner.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Great work ethic.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Experience with standard office equipment.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or six months to 1‑year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
