The Service Parts Associate plays an important role in supporting our service department by researching, ordering, staging, and tracking parts needed for equipment repairs. By ensuring technicians have the right parts at the right time, this position helps keep repairs moving efficiently and supports the level of reliability our customers expect.
While this role works primarily behind the scenes, its impact reaches directly to the people we serve. Accurate parts ordering, organization, and timely coordination help ensure customers can count on us to keep their equipment working and their operations moving.

Summary:Key Responsibilities:
Service Department Support
- Review parts requests and repair orders from service advisors and technicians
- Research correct parts using manufacturer catalogs and dealer systems
- Ensure technicians have the parts required to complete repairs efficiently
- Communicate with service staff regarding parts availability and order status
- Place parts orders with manufacturers and suppliers
- Monitor order status and follow up on backorders or delays
- Provide updates to service advisors on estimated arrival times
- Expedite parts orders when repairs are time-sensitive
- Pull parts from inventory for service work orders
- Stage parts for technicians to ensure they are ready when repairs begin
- Ensure parts are labeled and assigned to the correct repair order
- Maintain organized parts staging areas for service work orders
- Assist with identifying inventory shortages or discrepancies
- Communicate inventory needs to the Parts Manager
- Assist in inventory counts
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn parts catalog systems
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to lift and move parts when necessary
