Hourly Compensation: $57.74 – $73.04/hour (DOE)
Differentials: Nights +$7.50/hr | Weekends +$3/hr
Sign-On Bonus: $20,000

Overview
A leading acute-care provider in the Lake City region is seeking an Advanced Clinical Pharmacist to support overnight critical care services. This role focuses on clinical decision-making, sterile compounding accuracy, medication optimization, and direct support of high-acuity patient populations. The pharmacist will work independently while partnering with nursing and medical teams to ensure safe and effective medication therapy.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure safe, evidence-based medication order verification and dosing adjustments.
Oversee sterile compounding activities in accordance with USP guidelines.
Respond to clinical consults, provide drug information, and support bedside teams.
Monitor and maintain controlled substance processes, including reconciliation.
Assist with medication-use evaluations, monographs, and clinical pathway updates.
Maintain distribution oversight including storage, automation systems, and workflow efficiency.
Promote patient-centered communication and care.
QualificationsDegree from an ACPE-accredited College of Pharmacy (BS Pharmacy or Pharm
D).
Active Florida Pharmacist license or eligibility to obtain.
Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and independent decision-making.
Hospital experience or residency training strongly preferred.
