IT Support, Desktop Support
Akkodis is seeking a Support Executive for a Contract with a client in Lake City, FL. The ideal candidate possesses essential infrastructure support expertise while resolving desktop issues and ensuring smooth operation of field devices and workplace systems.
Rate Range: $24/hour to $26/hour; the rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Support ExecutiveJob Responsibilities Include
- Provide on‑site desktop and field support for end users, resolving hardware, software, and peripheral issues efficiently.
- Troubleshoot and maintain workplace infrastructure components, ensuring minimal downtime across field operations.
- Install, configure, and update desktops, laptops, printers, and related devices in compliance with organizational standards.
- Coordinate incident resolution and service requests through established ticketing systems, ensuring timely follow‑ups and closure.
- Support network connectivity and system access issues, escalating complex problems to appropriate teams when needed.
- Assist with deployment, upgrades, and inventory management of field devices, contributing to smooth daily business operations.
- High school diploma or associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 6–8 years of experience providing desktop, field, or infrastructure support in enterprise environments.
- Strong client‑required hands‑on experience in infrastructure support, including troubleshooting end‑user systems and workplace devices.
- Proven ability to manage desktop operations tasks such as installations, configurations, incident resolution, and hardware/software maintenance.

Pay Details: $24.00 to $26.00 per hour
