Job PurposeThe Advanced Practice Provider will be responsible for managing the care and treatment of urological patients. They will work closely with our medical urologists and other center team members to implement treatment plans and monitor progress.

- Treat and care for patients.
- Participate as a member of the multidisciplinary urologic cancer center team.
- Perform physical examinations applying the medical model and nursing process.
- Maintain consistency of quality patient care.
- Identify normal vs. abnormal findings, consult with physician advisor when indicated, evaluate diagnoses and manage conditions; order laboratory studies; prescribe pharmacologic and non‑pharmacologic interventions; refer or consult with other physicians.
- Conduct hospital consultations and participate in inpatient rounding if needed.
- Develop and implement patient education activities.
- Build trusting relationships with patients and referring providers.
- Provide leadership in care coordination and serve as a clinical resource to medical assistants and urology nurses.
- Enhance professional growth by reviewing literature and attending educational meetings and workshops.
- Master's degree as Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Studies.
- Current Florida Registered Nurse license.
- Florida Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant License.
- DEA registration within 6 months of hire.
- National Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Board Certification through an accrediting body.
- Current Basic Life Support certification.
- EMR and computer skills.
- Preferred 2+ year commitment.
- Mission‑driven toward comprehensive patient care, desire to develop depth in caring for patient as a whole and tie roots in the provider community.
- Bilingual skills preferred.
- Calm under pressure; problem‑solving skills; clinical curiosity.
- Compliance with state and federal vaccination mandates.
