Job Location:
FL, Lake City – Columbia Correctional Institution, Lake City, FL 32025
Position Type:
Full‑time;
Shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm;
Degree:
Graduate.
Role:
Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant working under a physician’s supervision in a correctional environment. Responsibilities include coordinating multidisciplinary care, performing assessments, diagnosing patients, and managing medication.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient care in a correctional setting.
- Conduct patient assessments and provide diagnoses.
- Manage medications and treatment plans.
- Assist in delivery of health care and patient care management.
- Work under the supervision of a physician.
- Active, unrestricted FL ARNP or PA license.
- BLS certification.
- DEA license or ability to obtain one.
