As a Security Officer Screening Associate in Lake City, FL
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As a Screener with Allied Universal at a government facility location, you will monitor entry activity, screen individuals and property, and support daily operations through clear communication and attentive presence. Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour
Job Schedule: Wed 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM;
Thu 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM;
Sat 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM;
Sun 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Screen individuals, visitors, and/or permitted items entering the location in accordance with site-specific procedures and reporting protocols.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Monitor access points and report unusual activity, policy violations, and/or concerns to site leadership according to established procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter as assigned, with working environments and conditions varying by site.
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
