We're recruiting an experienced Material Handler for a well-established, family-owned manufacturing company in Lake City, MN. This position plays a critical role in the daily flow of materials by managing shipping and receiving operations, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring products are safely handled and stored.

Ship and receive daily incoming and outgoing materials

Load and unload trucks and transportation vehicles

Move, handle, organize, and store non-hazardous materials

Verify deliveries against purchase orders and shipping documents

Inspect incoming shipments for quality and quantity accuracy

Document damages, shortages, and discrepancies

Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment

Schedule trucks with minimal assistance

Label and organize products in designated warehouse locations

Maintain accurate inventory and stock records

Conduct routine inspections and basic maintenance on equipment

Identify, locate, and pull materials for delivery and production needs

Collaborate with internal departments to resolve shipping and inventory issues

Perform quality checks and identify errors before products move through the process

Complete additional warehouse and logistics duties as assigned

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to maintain pace with production expectations

Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office

Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and material handling equipment

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Strong problem-solving and communication skills
