• Oversee the operation of the deli department to achieve maximum sales and gross profits.
• Hire, train, and support deli associates to ensure a high-performing team.
• Maintain accurate records related to inventory, sales, and expenses.
• Ensure excellent customer service and foster positive associate relations.
• Manage scheduling of deli associates to ensure optimal staffing levels.
• Control expenses while managing inventory and shrinkage.
• Ensure shelves are stocked and products are rotated using the first in-first out method.

• Experience in retail management, preferably in a deli or similar environment.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to manage inventory and control expenses.
• Attention to detail for accurate record-keeping.
