Your Role as a PTA at Pro Motion

As a Physical Therapist Assistant at Pro Motion, you will deliver patient-centered outpatient care under the supervision of a licensed PT. You’ll help execute individualized treatment plans, foster patient engagement, and contribute to a positive, efficient clinic environment. We expect high-quality, evidence-informed care that restores function, builds resilience, and empowers patients to maintain long-term lifestyle changes.

That’s why we’ve created flexible scheduling options built for real life, whether you’re a caregiver, a seasoned clinician scaling back, seeking secondary income, or wanting to split time across different settings.

  • Flexible Schedule Parameters:
    • Consistent schedule
    • Minimum commitment: 2 days per week
    • Minimum hours: 8 hours per week
    • Maximum hours:
      Up to 29 hours per week (benefit‑eligible thresholds may vary)

What You’ll Do
  • Patient Care & Advocacy
    • Deliver and progress therapeutic interventions per the PT’s plan of care
    • Build strong patient relationships to promote attendance and engagement
    • Educate patients on home exercise programs and injury prevention
    • Monitor progress and communicate updates to the supervising PT
    • Support continuity of care during transitions and follow‑ups
  • Documentation & Compliance
    • Complete accurate, timely EMR documentation
    • Ensure notes support ethical and optimal billing
    • Communicate changes in patient status promptly
    • Contribute to compliant, top‑of‑scope billing within PTA scope
  • Team & Operations
    • Collaborate with clinical and non‑clinical team members for smooth clinic flow
    • Participate in team meetings and continuing education
    • Help schedule follow‑ups to maintain strong arrival rates
    • Encourage transition to wellness, gym, or performance programs
    • Maintain a clean, safe treatment environment
  • Community & Growth
    • Attend at least 2 community events per year
    • Stay current with evidence‑informed practice
    • Pursue specialization and professional development
Key Performance Expectations
  • Net Promoter Score (NPS): ≥ 90
  • Visits per Hour
    : ≥ 1.333
    • Schedule 15‑16 patients in a 9‑hr day; see 12‑13 patients

Requirements
  • Licensed PTA (or soon to be) in the state of SC
  • Strong communication and computer skills
  • Ability to stand, move, lift, and remain active throughout your shift
