Your Role as a PTA at Pro MotionAs a Physical Therapist Assistant at Pro Motion, you will deliver patient-centered outpatient care under the supervision of a licensed PT. You’ll help execute individualized treatment plans, foster patient engagement, and contribute to a positive, efficient clinic environment. We expect high-quality, evidence-informed care that restores function, builds resilience, and empowers patients to maintain long-term lifestyle changes.

That’s why we’ve created flexible scheduling options built for real life, whether you’re a caregiver, a seasoned clinician scaling back, seeking secondary income, or wanting to split time across different settings.
- Flexible Schedule Parameters:
- Consistent schedule
- Minimum commitment: 2 days per week
- Minimum hours: 8 hours per week
- Maximum hours:
Up to 29 hours per week (benefit‑eligible thresholds may vary)

:- Caregivers managing family or household responsibilities
- Experienced PTAs wanting to stay clinically active with reduced hours
- Clinicians transitioning between career phases or settings
- Professionals seeking improved work‑life balance without leaving patient care
- PTAs interested in blending outpatient with other clinical or personal pursuits
- Patient Care & Advocacy
- Deliver and progress therapeutic interventions per the PT’s plan of care
- Build strong patient relationships to promote attendance and engagement
- Educate patients on home exercise programs and injury prevention
- Monitor progress and communicate updates to the supervising PT
- Support continuity of care during transitions and follow‑ups
- Documentation & Compliance
- Complete accurate, timely EMR documentation
- Ensure notes support ethical and optimal billing
- Communicate changes in patient status promptly
- Contribute to compliant, top‑of‑scope billing within PTA scope
- Team & Operations
- Collaborate with clinical and non‑clinical team members for smooth clinic flow
- Participate in team meetings and continuing education
- Help schedule follow‑ups to maintain strong arrival rates
- Encourage transition to wellness, gym, or performance programs
- Maintain a clean, safe treatment environment
- Community & Growth
- Attend at least 2 community events per year
- Stay current with evidence‑informed practice
- Pursue specialization and professional development
- Net Promoter Score (NPS): ≥ 90
- Visits per Hour
: ≥ 1.333- Schedule 15‑16 patients in a 9‑hr day; see 12‑13 patients
- Believe in the transformative power of physical therapy
- Deliver exceptional patient experiences (Google reviews, NPS)
- Communicate clearly and compassionately
- Organized and detail‑oriented, even in a busy clinic
- Balance fun, creativity, and empathy with clinical reasoning
- Understand or be curious about documentation, efficiency, and ethical billing
- Work collaboratively to build morale and strong culture
- Motivated to grow personally and professionally
- Licensed PTA (or soon to be) in the state of SC
- Strong communication and computer skills
- Ability to stand, move, lift, and remain active throughout your shift
- Starting pay at $30/hr for part‑time roles
