To assist the teacher in the advancement of the educational experiences of students in an interactive, caring, and supportive manner. Bilingualism in Spanish and English required.

Requirements:
In order to work as a Special Education Paraprofessional, you must meet the state requirement of being Highly Qualified prior to your start date. To be considered Highly Qualified, you must have ONE of the following; a Bachelor's Degree or an Associates Degree, or 60+ hours of post-secondary education, or a Passing Score on the Para Pro Exam. Please be prepared to submit documentation in support of your qualifications.

(Acceptable documentation includes transcripts from the college or a copy of the Para Pro Exam report.)
