Health Partners Regions Behavioral Health Clinic in Woodbury, MN is seeking a Transcranial Magnetic Simulation Technician to join our growing multidisciplinary team and provide excellent patient care.
At our Behavioral Health Clinic, service excellence is to be centered on patient care and patient relationships, and teamwork is the norm and all employees will be held accountable to work as effective team members. The TMS Technician will facilitate and oversee treatment sessions for individuals who are experiencing a variety of psychiatric conditions. They will set up the TMS medical device and monitor all aspects of the treatment sessions while administering TMS treatments according to specific physician protocols to ensure patient comfort, safety, and treatment effectiveness/accuracy.
They will help track patients' progress under the supervision of our team physicians and nursing supervisors. In addition to administering and monitoring treatment, the TMS technician provides excellent patient care and treats patients with compassion while developing trust and rapport. They provide support and compassion to patients experiencing depression, OCD, and/or anxiety.
- Associates degree or equivalent from an accredited university in the field of psychology, social work, pre-med, healthcare, or related major.
- Current CPR/BLS required. Must maintain current certification in performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). (Required and can be obtained after securing employment)
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in the field of psychology, social work, pre-med, healthcare, or related major.
- Two years working in healthcare or behavioral health
- Experience working with electronic medical records & knowledge of health plan/insurance operations
