Job Description

Health Partners Regions Behavioral Health Clinic in Woodbury, MN is seeking an on-call Behavioral Health Coordinator to join our growing multidisciplinary team and provide excellent patient care.

At our Behavioral Health Clinic, service excellence is to be centered on patient care and patient relationships and teamwork is the norm and all employees will be held accountable to work as effective team members. The Behavioral Health Coordinator will verify patient registration and insurance types, provide customers with appointment specific paperwork, schedule a variety of patient appointments, answer the phones promptly and document the call and route the information to the appropriate individual, enter patient refill requests in EPIC and send them to the nursing team, call patients to follow up on appointments, prepare patient documents and send documents to Health Information Management, make reminder phone call appointments for new patient appointments and check, respond and distribute department email, faxes and mail.

Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in a position interacting with the public using telephones and computers
