Special Inspector

Location:

Lake Elsinore, Southern California (regional hire). The role involves performing specialized inspections on construction projects to ensure compliance with building codes, project specifications, and safety standards.

• Conduct specialized inspections of construction projects, including structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Verify that construction work complies with approved plans, specifications, and applicable building codes.
• Document inspection findings and prepare detailed reports for project managers and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and project managers to address and resolve any issues or discrepancies.
• Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Conduct safety audits and ensure that all safety protocols are being followed on‑site.
• Participate in project meetings and provide updates on inspection findings and site conditions.

• Associate Degree or higher.
• 5+ years of industry experience in the construction inspection sector.
• Meticulous attention to detail for identifying and documenting issues or discrepancies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for conveying inspection findings and collaborating with project teams.
• Ability to identify and resolve issues promptly and effectively.
• Effective time‑management skills to handle multiple inspections and meet project deadlines.
• Proficiency in analyzing construction plans and specifications.
• Ability to travel regularly to construction sites.
• Physical requirements primarily include walking, climbing, and standing for extended periods.

Salary Range: $45 per hour.
