Research Scientist – Microbiology (Seattle, WA)
IEH Laboratories, a Leader in Food Safety, is now accepting applications for this full‑time position.
Responsibilities- Conduct research projects related to food microbiology and food science.
- Apply strong bioinformatics skills to analyze data.
- Collaborate with clients on requested projects.
- Occasionally work weekends, extended hours, or outside the normal schedule; occasional travel may be required.
- Maintain safe lab practices, especially regarding exposure to food allergens.
- PhD in Microbiology, Food Science or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of post‑doctoral experience.
- Strong knowledge of bioinformatics.
- Highly motivated, proactive, with a passion for food microbiology and food science.
- Willingness to help clients on requested projects.
Pay range: $85,000 – $110,000 annually.
