• Facilitating one‑hour life‑skills sessions with K‑2 students, coaching them and reinforcing literacy skills introduced by Reading Specialists.
• Inspiring students to progress through adaptive learning platforms and meet their weekly academic targets.
• Guiding emotional regulation, resilience, and problem‑solving through consistent routines and supportive engagement.
• Monitoring student development and identifying challenges early, then adapting your approach in partnership with your team.
• Building a classroom environment that balances structure, energy, and individual connection.

• Must be available to work full‑time and in‑person at our campus in Chicago, IL;
  Miami, FL;
  Palo Alto, CA;
  San Francisco, CA; or Santa Monica, CA.
• Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
• 3+ years of experience working with children ages 4–8 in educational settings, after school programs, coaching, or comparable roles.
• Strong storytelling and presentation skills: capable of engaging and maintaining the focus of groups of young children.
• Ability to maintain high expectations for yourself and students, and motivate kids to achieve their objectives.
• Growth mindset and openness to coaching.
• Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.

This is a full‑time (40 hours per week), long‑term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $60 USD/hour, which equates to $120,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
