When a child falls behind, most elementary schools reduce their expectations. You do the opposite. You know a six-year-old has more capability than traditional classrooms demand, and you have used evidence to demonstrate this repeatedly.

Alpha operates on a two-hour learning framework. Adaptive technology handles academic instruction each morning, freeing your schedule for the interventions that truly transform a child's trajectory: motivation, life skills, coaching, and accountability. You directly oversee a cohort of K-3 students while simultaneously coaching the Guides (Alpha's designation for the adults who mentor and inspire students) who manage their day-to-day growth. You remain actively involved each day, not supervising remotely from another office.

Your typical day rotates among three priorities. You analyze performance metrics and Coachbot data to identify which students and Guides need support. You conduct coaching sessions that equip people with concrete next actions rather than general encouragement. And you engage a room of five- to nine-year-olds through workshops on topics like public speaking, focus, or constructive feedback exchange.

When you identify effective strategies, you document them. The playbooks you create establish the baseline every other Guide implements, expanding your influence from a single cohort to the entire grade level. Demonstrating your ability to replicate that quality is the pathway to broader leadership roles here.

• Coaching both Guides and students through performance analytics, classroom observation, and targeted feedback, then maintaining accountability to defined, measurable objectives
• Leading one-hour live workshops for K-3 students focused on life skills including public speaking, focus, collaboration, resilience, accountability, and constructive feedback exchange
• Conducting individual and small-group sessions that link each child's personal goals and interests to tangible academic advancement
• Developing and iterating on playbooks that translate your most effective methods into systems other Guides can reliably implement
• Training Guides on these playbooks and demonstrating facilitation excellence to preserve standards as the team expands

• Providing academic instruction or lecturing in a traditional format; adaptive technology delivers content while you coach people
• Reducing expectations when students encounter difficulties
• Managing from a distance as instructional coaches and principals typically do; you remain directly engaged with your cohort every day
• Handling campus-wide budget, operations, and parent communications; a Campus Lead manages those responsibilities so you can concentrate on student and Guide performance
• Advocating for traditional instructional approaches or adhering to a standard K-12 curriculum

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Business, Organizational Leadership, Child Development, or a related discipline
• Minimum of 5 years working with elementary-aged children (approximately ages 5 to
  9)
• Experience leading a team of 5 or more individuals, with authority to hire and remove personnel based on performance results
• Experience building, launching, or substantially growing a program, team, school, or initiative from inception, not managing an established one
• Comfortable operating in a school environment that rejects conventional teaching methods
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
