OverviewInsight Global is seeking a Thermal Test Engineer with expertise in thermal analysis, fluid dynamics, and closed-loop PID control to support new product development. This role focuses on characterizing, validating, and optimizing thermal performance across multiple product configurations and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Perform thermal analysis, characterization, and validation of components and systems
- Develop and test closed-loop PID thermal control systems to maintain required temperatures
- Conduct system-level testing as components are integrated into full assemblies
- Support multiple configurations and customer-specific requirements during development
- Troubleshoot thermal issues related to heat dissipation in chip-level or high-power systems
- Experience with thermal analysis, heat transfer, and fluid dynamics
- Background in thermal testing, validation, and system integration
- Experience working with complex electromechanical or high-performance systems
- Knowledge of closed loop/PID control systems
