Personal Attendant​/Caregivers​/South

Overview

We are looking for experienced personal attendant/caregiver who are dedicated, dependable professionals who enjoy working with the elderly and are committed to helping improve their quality of life. The cities we need are San Juan Capistrano, Dana Point, Laguna Niguel, Mission Viejo, Rancho Santa Margarita, Laguna Hills, Laguna Woods and Lake Forest. Driving with a car is preferred.

Rates are $17 to $23 per hour.

We offer medical, dental and vision benefits after one year of employment.

This job is located in Orange County, CA and surrounding areas.

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADL's)
• Bathing, grooming, personal care, feeding/meal prep, toileting ambulation, medication reminders, social interaction, and more!
• Be oriented and well trained on all aspects of the client’s Plan of Care
• Meal prep and cooking
• Assist clients with light housekeeping (vacuuming, sweeping, changing linens, laundry, etc.)
• Drive clients to and from medical appointments, grocery stores, etc.

• Homecare Aide Certification (HCA) – CA state requirement; requires registering as a Personal Attendant and Livescan fingerprints for an FBI background check. Salus can help with certification if not currently certified.
• TB test – must be within 90 days of start.
• MUST be able to legally work within the USA.
• Physical capability to perform all job functions.
• Safe driving record and valid auto insurance if you will be driving with clients.
• Ability to speak, write, and read English is a requirement.
