Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
  • 5+ years in software engineering, Dev Ops, or information security roles.
  • 2+ years in a leadership, technical lead, or project coordination role.
  • Solid understanding of cybersecurity concepts, standards, and practices.
  • Familiarity with cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP).
  • Experience with secure development practices, vulnerability management, and risk assessment.
  • Ability to review technical designs and propose improvements from a security perspective.
  • Proven track record of coordinating cross‑functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Problem‑solving mindset with the ability to make balanced decisions under pressure.
  • Strong documentation and reporting skills.
Preferred to Have
  • Professional certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA, AWS Security Specialty).
  • Any previous experience in automotive cybersecurity or regulated industries.
  • Knowledge of any compliance frameworks (GDPR, HIPAA, automotive‑specific security standards).
  • Hands‑on experience with security tools (SIEM, IDS/IPS, SAST/DAST, penetration testing).
Job Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary coordinator for all activities related to the cybersecurity direction.
  • Collaborate with multiple engineering, QA, and infrastructure teams to ensure timely delivery of cybersecurity‑related tasks.
  • Translate project requirements into clear technical tasks and ensure proper prioritization.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineers, ensuring cybersecurity best practices are followed.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and proactively resolve issues.
  • Communicate status, challenges, and achievements to stakeholders and management.
  • Support planning, estimation, and resource allocation for cybersecurity projects.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and security frameworks.
  • Serve as a bridge between technical teams and project/product management.
