CGS is hiring a FULL TIME Senior Network Engineer to serve as a senior member of the Network Engineering team, responsible for leading the design, implementation, and management of the company’s advanced network infrastructure. Your role will involve handling the most complex network challenges, driving strategic initiatives, and mentoring junior engineers.

Location:

Irvine, CA (Hybrid with 3 days onsite each week)

• Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of the company’s WAN, LAN, and WLAN across all locations.
• Architect and implement SD-WAN (Velo Cloud) solutions to enhance network performance and reliability.
• Serve as the highest level of support for complex network issues, providing expertise and guidance to the entire network team.
• Troubleshoot and resolve advanced issues related to all aspects of the network infrastructure, including firewalls, routing, switching, and wireless systems.
• Lead the management of Palo Alto firewalls, ensuring the highest levels of network security and compliance.
• Develop and enforce security policies, conduct vulnerability assessments, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Mentor and guide junior and mid-level engineers, providing technical leadership and fostering professional growth within the team.
• Develop training programs and share best practices to elevate the overall technical competency of the network team.

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on enterprise-level infrastructure.
• Expert knowledge of Cisco routers, Juniper switches, wireless networks, and SD-WAN technologies, particularly Velo Cloud.
• Extensive experience with network security, particularly Palo Alto firewalls.
• Proven ability to lead complex network projects and strategic initiatives.
• Strong leadership, communication, and mentoring skills.
