South County Outreach provides critical support to people during times of financial hardship and to vulnerable, low‑income families and individuals experiencing poverty. This includes offering a dignified shopping experience in our food pantries, utilities and rental support, and educational guidance to help families take steps toward stability.
Volunteer Responsibilities- Check in clients upon arrival.
- Assist with appointment scheduling and follow‑up.
- Answer incoming phone calls.
- Perform data entry tasks.
- Provide resources and guidance as needed.
- Data entry or administrative experience is a plus.
- Basic computer skills required.
Time Commitment:
Once a week for 3–4 hours, Monday through Thursday. Shifts are 8:30 am–12:00 pm and 12:00 pm–3:30 pm.
