LVN- Skilled Nursing, shifts - 1st Shift

Freedom Village is a Continuing Care Retirement Community located in South Orange County, California. The position requires direct nursing care for residents in compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations.

The ideal candidate is providing direct nursing care to residents in accordance with federal, state, and facility regulations. This position focuses on administering medications, monitoring resident conditions, documenting care, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure quality resident outcomes.

• Administer prescribed medications and treatments accurately and safely according to physician orders.
• Monitor residents for medication effectiveness, side effects, and adverse reactions.
• Document medication administration in PCC.
• Report medication discrepancies, errors, or concerns promptly.
• Observe and report changes in resident physical, mental, and emotional conditions.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges as directed.
• Respond to resident and family concerns professionally and promptly.
• Ensure resident rights, dignity, privacy, and confidentiality are maintained.
• Complete accurate and timely nursing documentation in PCC.
• Maintain treatment records, progress notes, incident reports, and physician communications.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies and regulatory requirements.
• Work with the clinical team to provide excellent resident care.

Shift: FT, 7am-7pm

Salary: $38.00- $40.00 per hour.

• Current license as a Vocational Nurse in California.
• Current CPR certification.
• Two or more years of experience in Skilled Nursing.
• Strong clinical assessment skills.
• Knowledge of medication administration and treatment protocols.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Accurate documentation and charting abilities.
• Time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

Offer of employment is contingent upon successful fingerprint clearance through the Department of Justice, background check, physical exam, TB, drug screen. COVID‑19 vaccination preferred, not required.
