Temporary Quality Assurance Technician I
Location: Lake Forest, CA
Pay Rate: $24.00 per hour
Assignment Length: 6-Month Temporary Project
Shift: 1st Shift, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
A leading manufacturer in the dietary supplement industry is seeking a Temporary Quality Assurance Technician I to support a 6-month project at its Lake Forest, CA facility. The Quality Assurance Technician will be responsible for sampling components, performing physical testing of in-process materials and finished goods, managing reserve samples, completing required documentation, and supporting quality-related activities in a team-oriented manufacturing environment.

Job Duties
- Sample raw materials, components, in-process materials, and finished goods
- Perform physical testing according to established procedures and specifications
- Maintain reserve sample inventory and organization
- Complete quality documentation accurately and in a timely manner
- Support quality assurance activities in compliance with company standards
- Identify and report quality issues or deviations
- Collaborate with production and quality teams to ensure compliance requirements are met
- Follow all safety, quality, and Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) guidelines
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management
- Minimum of one year of Quality Assurance (QA) or Quality Control (QC) experience
- Previous knowledge and understanding of quality compliance requirements
- Working knowledge of cGMP regulations and industry guidelines
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a fast-paced production environment
- Knowledge of QA/QC practices in the food, pharmaceutical, dietary supplement, or medical device industries
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with safe work practices and workplace safety procedures
- Experience using proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Understanding of allergen control programs
- Knowledge of proper sample collection, handling, storage, and disposal procedures
