Our client, a leading organization in the automotive part manufacturing and quality assurance industry, is seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Inspector to join their team. As a Quality Assurance Inspector, you will be an essential part of the Quality Department supporting product inspection and approval activities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Quality Assurance Inspector

Location: Foothill Ranch, CA

Pay Range: $35.00

What's the Job?

  • Conduct supplier submission, PPAP, and First Article Inspections (FAI) to verify product conformance to drawings, specifications, and approved/OE samples.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, dimensional requirements, and inspection criteria.
  • Perform dimensional and visual inspections using calipers, micrometers, thread gages, height gages, and other inspection equipment.
  • Document inspection results in inspection reports, Excel, ERP systems, and quality records.
  • Identify nonconforming product and support containment, corrective actions, and supplier follow-up.

What's Needed?

  • Associate degree in technical, engineering, quality, manufacturing, or related field preferred; bachelor’s degree a plus.
  • 3+ years of Quality Assurance, inspection, manufacturing, automotive, or related technical experience preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Experience using dimensional inspection equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and thread gages.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, organization, and attention to detail.
