• Accountable for meeting sales and income budget expectations while managing expense controls to maximize profitability.
• Plan and direct day‑to‑day operations of the assigned store location, including opening/closing, POS operations, inventory management, ARC merchandising standards, and donations.
• Hire, train, and coach the store team; issue evaluations, performance results, and corrective actions.
• Schedule employees, coordinate daily meetings, and maintain accurate payroll records.
• Ensure high levels of customer and donor satisfaction, developing strategies to maximize the experience.
• Ensure back‑room processing meets daily goals; oversee warehouse associates.
• Ensure timely placement of store deliveries/product on the sales floor.
• Supervise, support, and conduct reporting of program beneficiaries during work therapy assignments.
• Protect and secure store currency, inventory, property, and manage cash deposits.
• Secure the building during non‑operating hours, maintain safety protocols, and report incidents.
• Conduct mandatory weekly store meetings and attend ARC monthly safety meetings.
• May be transferred or relocated to other stores based on business needs.
• Complete tasks assigned by District Sales Manager, Command Retail Directors, and Command Administration.

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent (some college preferred).
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory/management experience in a retail environment (thrift experience preferred).
• Basic proficiency with office applications, including MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Valid driver’s license; must pass an MVR check (required) and provide proof of insurance and access to a motor vehicle.
• Must pass background check, including criminal history and sex offender registry.
• Strong communication skills with management, employees, customers, and donors.

• Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, twist, and grasp, push, pull objects such as file cabinets, clothing carts, merchandise racks, furniture dollies, platform trucks, hand trucks, and miscellaneous carts.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform repetitive motion tasks.

$22.00 per hour

Full‑time employees may be scheduled to work any full‑time shift, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Employees must be flexible to ensure adequate coverage.
