You will use strong communication and customer service skills while completing detailed documentation and supporting daily operations. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license under AU Driver Policy Requirements.

** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at an industrial manufacturing location.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting hazards, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations according to post orders.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and perimeter fencing to help to deter unauthorized access and/or theft.

+ Monitor access points and verify identification, visitor logs, and/or delivery documentation as required while maintaining a professional presence.

+ Document daily activities, patrols, incidents, and/or maintenance issues in written reports and communicate updates to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.

+ A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ CPR certification is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ A guard card or license is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
