Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

AVEVA is creating software trusted by over 90% of leading industrial companies. This role is part of the Common Cloud Platform team, helping design and build foundations that power our industrial software portfolio in the cloud. Work on Microsoft Azure to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions.

• Design, develop, and implement cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
• Collaborate with architects and engineers to deliver infrastructure and data solutions aligned with business and compliance requirements.
• Evaluate system architecture, perform risk analysis, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Implement secure development practices and support compliance and security-related activities.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system designs and implementation artifacts.

• Strong software development experience in C# (.NET) or Node.js.
• Hands‑on experience designing and implementing cloud solutions, preferably on Azure.
• Solid understanding of cloud architecture, networking, and authentication/authorization concepts.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Dev Ops practices, and containerized environments.
• Strong understanding of secure software development practices, including threat modeling.

• Curiosity to explore emerging cloud and security technologies and apply them effectively.
• Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to deliver secure, scalable solutions to complex challenges.
• Effective collaboration and communication when working with customers and cross‑functional teams.
• Ability to manage priorities in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining high‑quality outcomes.
