Job DescriptionKett Engineering, a leading automotive testing company, seeks Test Drivers for the 1st shift to operate vehicles at a customer testing site near Lake Forest, CA.
Responsibilities include running pre‑designed test routes around the Long Beach area that cover sea level, urban, rural (gravel), and mountain driving. Each route lasts approximately eight hours and must be followed exactly as provided. Drivers will perform laptop routing twice per shift—once at the start and again after lunch—print Turn‑by‑Turn route sheets, operate the vehicle, and report any unexpected operational issues.
Small towing apparatus testing is also part of the role. Proficiency with computer systems is required.
1st Shift: 8:00a.m. – 5:00p.m., Monday through Friday.
Project duration: 12–13 weeks.
Qualifications- Available to work up to 40 hours per week.
- Open to working weekends if needed.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Clean driving record with a 36‑month history.
- Five years of licensed driving experience.
- Must pass a drug test and background check.
