Position Overview :
As part of the talented accounting team, the Staff Accountant is an integral part of Brunswick's Business Acceleration Finance & Accounting team and will be responsible for maintaining proper accounting processes and controls for specific Business Acceleration entities. This position will work closely with the Senior Accounting Manager and accounting team to ensure that the monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting processes are completed in a timely manner per GAAP requirements.
The Staff Accountant will have key responsibilities for month-end close and account reconciliations of our Financial Services

Essential Functions:

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of accounting, finance, bookkeeping, or business operations experience.
- Working knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, account reconciliations, journal entries, month-end close processes, and basic tax reporting requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with advanced skills in Excel.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, organizational skills, and time management abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across all levels of the organization and provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a multi-entity or multi-location business environment.
- Experience with Quick Books and/or Oracle.
- Demonstrated experience supporting process improvements, automation initiatives, and operational efficiencies.
- Proven ability to identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve financial operations.
Working Conditions:
- This position is hybrid (3 days per week at the Corp headquarters).
- This position is full time
The anticipated pay range for this position is $66,500.00 - $95,750.00. The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location.
