  • Ensure adherence to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), DFARS, and other federal, state, and local regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in development, review, and analysis of acquisition and procurement documentation, including amendments, renewals, and pricing structures.
  • Conduct pre-award and post-award compliance reviews to validate contract performance.
  • Identify contractual and operational risks and develop mitigation strategies.

Financial & Spend Management

  • Monitor and analyze spend against contract commitments, identifying variances, usage trends, and forecasting impacts.
  • Validate financial explanations for changes in actuals versus prior year and budget.
  • Ensure contract deliverables accurately support billing, usage reconciliation, and financial reporting requirements.
  • Participate in deal structuring, commercial reviews, and negotiation preparation.

Data, Inventory & Reporting

  • Develop and maintain advanced Excel-based dashboards and reporting tools to track contract usage, ordering patterns, pricing compliance, and product availability.
  • Perform complex data analysis to identify root causes, ordering trends, pricing discrepancies, and operational risks.
  • Review procurement and supply chain transactions, including requisitions and purchase orders, to ensure data accuracy and compliance.
  • Support automation initiatives to improve reporting efficiency and data transparency.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Leadership

  • Serve as liaison between Sales, Legal, Finance, Operations, and Supply Chain stakeholders.
  • Provide guidance on contractual obligations, performance expectations, and compliance standards.
  • Lead portions of multi-project initiatives or work streams to ensure timely execution and delivery excellence.
  • Prepare executive-ready reports and presentations summarizing contract performance, risks, and financial impact.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Forensic Accounting, Project Management, or related field; or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in contract analysis, financial due diligence, procurement, or program management within a regulated environment.
  • Experience supporting government, federal, education, or healthcare contracts.
  • Strong knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and regulatory compliance frameworks.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas, modeling, automation).
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects independently.
  • Experience identifying, assessing, and mitigating operational and contractual risks.
  • Strong presentation skills and experience developing executive-level reporting.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in medical device, aerospace, pharmaceutical, or similarly regulated industries.
  • Familiarity with inventory management and supply chain analytics.
  • Experience supporting medium-complexity procurement documentation and negotiations.
Key Competencies
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to identify discrepancies across financial, contractual, and operational datasets.
  • Analytical Thinking: Strong critical reasoning and root cause analysis capabilities.
