Compensation
The anticipated base pay compensation range for this position is $ – $. This role is eligible for an incentive target of up to 20 % or $, based on the achievement of individual and company performance objectives in accordance with the current terms of the incentive program which are subject to change.

Position Details
The Senior Manager, Administrative Services leads multiple Administrative Services teams within the Administrative Business Partners Center of Excellence (ABP COE) to deliver consistent, efficient administrative support across Grainger. The role establishes operating standards, processes, and performance measures to enable productivity for business leaders and ensure alignment with organizational priorities. The position partners with senior leaders to implement programs, drive operational improvements, and ensure consistent service delivery across business units.
The role manages leaders and teams, with accountability for execution, talent development, and cross-functional alignment. This is a hybrid position that is based onsite in Lake Forest 2 days a week.
You Will
Leads and develops Managers, Administrative Services and administrative professionals to deliver consistent, high-quality administrative support across business units. Establishes and implements standardized processes, tools, and operating models to improve efficiency, consistency, and service delivery outcomes. Partners with senior business leaders to align administrative support models with organizational priorities and operational requirements. Defines and monitors key performance indicators, reporting frameworks, and service metrics to assess performance and drive accountability.
Oversees implementation of administrative standard work including calendar management, travel coordination, expense processing, and event planning. Leads cross-functional initiatives to identify gaps, implement process improvements, and enhance administrative service capabilities. Establishes communication and change management plans to ensure alignment, adoption, and transparency across stakeholders and business units. Builds and manages a pipeline of administrative talent through hiring, development, and performance management to sustain operational continuity.
You Have
Bachelor's Degree required 7+ years in administrative services, business support operations, or related functions required 5+ years of people leadership experience managing managers or multiple teams required Knowledge of administrative operations including calendar management, travel logistics, expense management systems, and executive support processes within a corporate environment. Experience establishing operational frameworks, standard work, and service delivery models across multiple teams or business units.
Experience using performance metrics, reporting tools, and dashboards to monitor service delivery, productivity, and operational outcomes. Knowledge of change management methods and stakeholder engagement practices to implement process improvements and drive adoption across functions.
